Is Distance BTech Valid and UGC Approved
No, a BTech degree through distance mode is not valid in India. The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) do not approve distance programs of BTech. The Supreme Court of India has ruled that engineering courses, which require practical lab work, cannot be completed by distance education.
