LLB Distance Education is Valid or Not?

If you want to practice law in an Indian court, then the Bachelor of Law (LLB) program via distance learning mode is not valid. As, Bar Council of India (BCI), which regulates legal studies and legal professions in India does not approve or recognise LLB programmes via online, distance, correspondence, part-time mode. Law requires mandatory moot court sessions, classroom interactive, in-person training, and court visits, which are only possible through regular, on-campus study. Also, many universities and BCI does not recognize LLB distance education which makes it invalid for higher studies and government jobs. Hence, it is advisable to pursue LLB program from BCI approved university/institution in a regular mode.
