To take admission in MSc degree through ODL mode, candidates generally need to have fulfilled the basic eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The eligibility requirements as mentioned below: 

1. Academic Qualifications: Applicants need to hold a BSc / BTech / BE degree or an equivalent degree form any approved university.
2. Marks Requirements: Obtaining a minimum of 50% to 55% aggregate marks are usually required for admission while, 5% mark relaxation is provided to the SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates. 
3. Subject Requirements: It is mandatory to have studied Science related subjects at graduation level. 
4. Selection Criteria: The selection process for MSc distance education is based on merit grade of the previous qualifying examination. There is no entrance exam needed to appear for the course.
